Ahh.

Went to Gwen and Dan's wedding in Atlanta. It was a great wedding. Nice, simple and elegant. I liked listening to the southern belles.

I had a good time.

Ahhhh morning Sun.

Not much to say, except. It was a beautiful morning. The sun rises later and later. I love the deep hues of Elliott Bay and the clouds. At least it's not fog or rain, which is typical of this area.

Hmmnn It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Well, yeah it's a TV Show... However, it was a beautiful morning. Got up to see the sunrise, and now am off to work on different projects.

So where am I headed? I have no clue. It's the journey that matters. Sometimes life passes you by so quickly you forgot to enjoy the scenery.

It can get quite addicting. You start watching one of those catchy videos and next thing you know you're watching the Spice Girls "Wannabe" video or some poor schlub trying out for American Idol or how to power your Ipod with an Onion.

It's content that's deliverable in 2-3 minute increments, pretty much the lifespan of my attention. The only thing that holds my attention for much longer is an engrossing read. Seriously, even porn gets boring after 15 seconds. I mean why do they have the fast-forward button on a VCR anyways.

So yeah, pretty much we are visual creatures, and sometimes I can peruse at things rather quickly. But sometimes, the written word just engrosses me. Especially when someone has something significant to say, and not just any drivel, but actual compelling arguments. I'll expound more on this later, as this is rather vague at the moment, especially without examples to clarify the point. Now was that last sentence a real sentence? I don't know I may have to take a look at a grammar book, as this is mostly unedited mental spewage. It is in a way a stream of consciousness, which is typically non-linear and doesn't quite fit into a box.

The other day, I ran into some PAC group raising funds and awareness for LaRouche. The person I was talking to did not enjoy a nice verbal sparring exchange, rather she proceeded to try to make her point by raising her voice and repeating herself. When asked what do you stand for? Are you a fiscal conservative/liberal, do you believe in a loose interpretation or hard interpretation of the Constitution, are you for more social welfare/capitalism or do you value security over the price of individual liberties.... The answer was rather vague and not satisfying, filling in sound byte of hippie utopia, and she then just gave me a few pamphlets and tried to get rid of me as fast as she could.

What people forget to address is the yin/yang of everything. Like Newton said, for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. Nothing is ever for free, especially in politics. There is always something to gain. Sure there are some out there that want to do good. However, most times, and not ALL times, there is a catch. In some rare instances there is good to be had in this world.

And I do believe in Karma. If not in this life, but in another life. There's a way of things just working out or not working out.

And so, onto the book of Job. I think the Book of Job explains a lot about life. It will all work out in the end. Now getting there, well that's another story.
